An update

I know, I know.... blogs are meant to be regularly updated and actually have interesting information that is worth reading about – well I have a very good reason for being slack, really I do! What is it....well, there’s been this, and there’s been that.... Okay so I really don’t have a very good excuse other than I’ve just simply been busy.

I celebrated a birthday milestone recently. Actually ‘celebrate’ is not the right word. Observed, acknowledged, accepted maybe! Forty years – I even cringe as I say it. I really don’t know where the years have gone and the worse thing about turning 40 is that you get to the point where you start to judge yourself and criticize the decisions you’ve made along the way because at 40, its a lot harder to do things over.  On the other hand, I have my health and a roof over my head. I have a wonderful partner who helps keep the smile on my face, good friends, and my kids seem to be turning out just fine (albeit I want to strangle them at times).  I haven’t really got anything to complain about.  Maybe I’m coming around already, being forty is not so bad - bring it on!!

Just had an amazing holiday too – one I can’t wait to write about so check back here very soon :)
